This is a pretty handy epilator. It is easy to hold, removes hair well, and has a few heads that can be used. It is easy to clean. I’ve used it many times & have found it a worthwhile buy.
Both my daughter and I really liked this product. So nice not to have to shave every other day with a razor! Best to use the roller head a first to get use to the pulling sensation. Once you graduate to the closer head, be careful to keep constant contact with your skin; otherwise,it will grab skin and cause discomfort and red marks, which do go away after a while, but can cause soreness.
Certainly what i expected. It works, but will make you wince while you use it – though it beats a razor.
The light is great and the power/strength is fine, but the placement of the two rollers is a problem and will not effectively epilate in some places (forced to go at certain angles sometimes to fit) — only an almost direct/flat application on the face of the rollers will work. Trying to use an edge or one side will not work. The emjoi I have is more versatile and consistent.
I was really looking forward to getting/trying this thing. I had myself convinced that I was going to replace my razor with it. This epilator has gotten some really good reviews so I figured I HAD to love it.
Not so much.. Actually, I have used it maybe 10 times and it sits in the box in a cupboard. In its defense, I had never used an epilator before but I have experienced childbirth and am no stranger to waxing. It was packaged nicely and the light was pretty cool. Now, maybe I just didn’t know what to expect but this thing missed quite a bit of hair and required several passes.
I also expected pain because the point here is to pull the hair out and, no matter how you spin it, that is never a good time. HOLY CRAP did this hurt. I would take waxing any day over this. I guess that I am just not built for epilating. :o/
Overall, I am giving this a 3. Not because I am a weenie and couldn’t handle the pain but because I don’t really think something should take 10 passes over a section to get MOST of the hair.
